Tuition: $400*

Lab Supply Fee: $75

**Pre-Requisite: General Science or Physical Science

Students who participate in this college-prep class will study a detailed introduction to the methods and concepts of general biology with a Christian Worldview, using a classical approach. Heavily emphasizing the vocabulary of biology, students will be provided with a strong background in the scientific method, the five-kingdom classification scheme, microscopy, biochemistry, cellular biology, molecular and Mendelian genetics, evolution, dissection, and ecosystems.  A complete survey of the five kingdoms in Creation will also be made.  Students will participate in hands-on laboratory experiments and prepare formal and informal laboratory reports. Students will also research, design and complete a science experiment and participate in the RCT STEM Fair.  (RCT STEM Fair entries are limited to students currently enrolled in RCT laboratory science classes, or students enrolled at RCT who have previously taken an RCT laboratory science class.)
