Does RCT host weekly classes?
RCT hosts two classes on a regular basis - Formal Logic & Mock Trial.
The reaminder of RCT's offerings are seminar based and may last 1-4 days, all on Fridays. The details of what each class entails are listed in their descriptions.
RCT changed formats to allow for students to return to more freedom with their homeschool schedules. Without the obligation of weekly commutes and scheduled classes, students can now be free to move at their own pace with their parents as their primary teachers.
The intensive seminars offered will provide excellent instruction and suggested syllabi and reading lists.

What is the tuition for each intensive?
Tuition is intensive specific. Please see each individual intensive's details.
What are the fees and books needed for each class?
You will find the books, teacher guides, curriculum, and supplies needed for each class as well as associated fees under each class. Supplies vary by intensive.
Is there a fee for adding a class?
No. There is no fee for adding a class. Although it would make things more streamlined if everything were to be registered for at once, we understand that sometimes you just aren't aware of all that RCT offers. When you see a class that fits your needs, we do not want you to have any hesitation regarding adding that class to help round out your child's curriculum.
I want to register for class. Where do I begin?
A) It is important to ask yourself a few questions before registering:
1. Will this be your child's first experience homeschooling?
2. Is he transitioning from public or private school?
3. Has he homeschooled most of his educational career or will he need a time of transition?
4. Which subjects are you wanting to teach at home and which would you like him to take at RCT?
5. What kind of writing program did he use in middle school?
6. What experience does he have in the laboratory sciences?
7. Does he have a creative outlet, like art?
B) Review the 2019-2020 schedule posted and the age requirements for each class. Make a "wish list" for what you want for him and what he's interested in. Also we have robust course descriptions available under each campus tab at the top of the home page.
C) Keep in mind that, generally speaking, each of our core classes will require about four hours of homework per week. So in order to set him up for success, you don't want to overload him.
D) Pay attention to all pre-requisites. If you have a question, please contact the individual tutor to discuss possible ways to attend a class.
E) When you are ready to register just click the registration link and submit the registration form. That is our contract and it has all the details and is the process by which you select his courses.
Where can my child be when he or she is not in class at RCT?
When your child is not attending a class at RCT, transportation should be provided by you to pick him or her up with in 10 minutes of the class finishing. Please do not drop off your children more than 10 minutes before class is scheduled to begin. Of course, parents are always welcome to attend class with their children or use an empty room to read and wait.
