Parents - We're all in this Together

As homeschooling parents, we need all of the support we can get. At RCT, parents are welcome to stay for all or part of any class in which their student is enrolled.  In addition, we offer periodic parent seminars with information on individual subjects, record keeping, navigating college applications, and general support.

Lost Tool of Writing Level 1 for Parents Only

September 20, 2019 - 8:00 am-12:00 pm - $30/ parent

What parents need to know:

This is a fantastic curriculum, but it is difficult to understand without guidance. Join Ms. Stephanie for a thorough overview of the program that will give your children a foundation for almost any kind of writing structure they will need in high school, college, and beyond. We will cover how to come up with ideas, how to organize ideas, and how to write with advanced literary elements of style. Even if you have enrolled your child in a Lost Tools class with another tutorial, this class will give you the overview you need to have a successful year. Most importantly, parents will have an opportunity to practice this method so that they, in light of the proven classical method, will then be able to teach their own children these useful skills.

Let Ms. Stephanie teach you how to teach your own children! Then bring your child to class on Oct 4 & 18 for their two day intensive where they put these skills to practice.
