Prerequisite: Ability to manipulate fractions and solve for unknowns (basic algebra)
Students who participate in this college-prep class will study such topics as the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, weather, the structure of the earth, environmentalism, the physics of motion, Newton’s Laws, gravity, and astrophysics with a Christian Worldview, using a classical approach. Students will participate in hands-on laboratory experiments and prepare formal and informal laboratory reports. Students will also be able to design and complete a science experiment and participate in the RCT Science Fair. (RCT Science Fair entries are limited to students enrolled in RCT laboratory science classes.)
